Based in Richmond, Va., InternDirect was formed in 2004 by C .Mason Gates as a web-based internship platform to provide students, employers and educators a meaningful gateway to match, track and report on internship activities. In September 2007 InternDirect acquired Internships.com and merged it into the company. Since its formation, InternDirect has grown to partner with hundreds of colleges and universities representing over 2 million college students.
