Dan Bradley

Dan BradleyDan brings over 30 years of valuable operating, management and sales/marketing experience to the Activa team. From 1974 until 2001, he was employed by Ethyl Corporation, a Fortune 500 chemical manufacturing company. During that period, Dan held several positions of increasing responsibility in Quality Control, Manufacturing, Supply & Distribution, Technical Service and ultimately Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, where he was responsible for annual sales in excess of $400 million. From 2001 to 2004, Dan was employed by the Pennzoil/Quaker State Company as Director of Sales for the Base Oil production facility in Lake Charles, LA.

While with Ethyl, Dan played a key role in the establishment and management of two major strategic alliances resulting in combined revenue increases in excess of $50 million. He also initiated a distributor sales system to market to smaller customers resulting in increased sales to this market segment from $7 million to $10 million. During his time managing the marketing group, Dan lead a two-year supply chain effort to streamline several product lines.

Shortly after joining Pennzoil/Quaker State, the company was acquired by Shell Oil. Being forced by the Federal Trade Commission to sell off the Lake Charles facility, Dan spent ten months managing the divestiture as it was being courted by interested buyers.

Dan holds a BS degree from Southern Illinois University with a major in Marketing and a minor in Chemistry. He has also completed continuing Executive Management programs at the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Administration, Rice University and The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to Dan's business career, he served in the US Army Signal Corp in Okinawa and Viet Nam.
